Getaway Cruises ‘n Tours has been a full service, home based agency since 2000. Those of us at Getaway have over 30 years in the travel business and service is our most valuable asset.

That said we highly believe in specialization. Just as you would want to see a specialist for a car, real estate or even a medical situation there are specialists in the travel business. As such you should know that the various tourist boards in the world have special educational programs so that you can specialize in those specific regions of the world that you want to specialize in. 

At Getaway we have specialists in Ireland, Scotland, Britain, Australia, New Zealand, the South Pacific and also in Hawaii with the Ke Kula O Hawaii Specialist program. That’s not to say we cannot send you to any other place in the world as we most certainly can.  We are also Master Cruise Counselors with the Cruise Lines International Association.

All of these organizations require us to maintain a certain level of knowledge about their various areas and attend classes and also visit the areas on a regular basis.  That also includes the cruise industry as well.

One of the things we pride ourselves in the most is the fact that we are here for you when others are not.  We do indeed think outside of the box as it were.  We work in the evenings, on the weekends and yes we’ll even work on a holiday for you to get you what you want in the way of travel.
